Prague in bloom with Europe With Zuzana

• Discover Prague in Bloom: My Favorite Spring Route With a View

Right now, Prague is in full bloom. Cherry trees, almonds, wild plums, and forsythia are painting the city in shades of pink, white, and gold. It’s the perfect time for a walk… and for taking photos.

Start your spring stroll at Prague Castle, then head down toward Raoul Wallenberg Promenade, just below the Strahov Monastery (also called a view from the vineyard). This quiet path along the vineyard offers stunning views over the rooftops of Malá Strana and the green hills of Petřín. It’s one of the best photo spots in the city – especially in the golden hour.

From there, continue down to Seminářská zahrada, a peaceful orchard on the lower slopes of Petřín hill. Right now, it’s full of blooming wild plums, almonds, and forsythia. Locals (including me!) come here to relax on a bench or sit in the grass and just enjoy the view. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Prague Castle, and completely free to enter.

Finally, wander further into the Petřín Gardens, which stretch all over the hillside. You’ll find quiet paths, blooming trees, and beautiful views in every direction.

All these spots are free to enter – no tickets, no crowds, just Prague in its springtime best.

Visiting Prague this April? Don’t miss these places. And if you’d like a local guide to show you around, help you find the best angles, and share a few hidden gems the crowds don’t know about – I’d love to take you there.
